GLOW AND HER PINK CHAIR

eight months.

By golly, she's cute! I'm biased of course. I am her mother. She sounds like she says, "Mama" but I doubt it. She is finally getting rice cereal. I know. Don't judge. She's my last one and I didn't want her poop to change. She has the softest skin and we like to do skin to skin. Then the other girls want to get in on it and you have all of us girls cuddling Glow skin to skin. It's sweet, really. Nine months is right around the corner...

GLOW AND HER PINK CHAIR

Following suit to Soul and Boogie, which seem to stop right around 14 months for Soul and probably because I was in the midst of morning sickness and pregnant with Glow. We got Glow her very own chair and in pink because let's face it, pink is kinda fantastic (always loved this mama's pink chair). I am kinda late in sharing it here because I wanted to think of a clever name for the chair (Soul's chair got its name from this hilarious surprise) and well, nothing ever came to me, so "her pink chair" it is!

One month.

Two months.

Three months.

Four months.

Five months.

I can hardly believe Glow is on her way to being six months old. I take daily pictures of her and post it on instagram and twitter, though the past few days don't seem to want to load on Ben's iphone, but you can follow along here and here.

She is a happy little joy and we all love her to pieces. And my oh my... that hair of hers is always crazy!!!

OUR GLO WORM

She is our little Glow worm, but we got her her very own vintage Glo Worm too.

Naturally, we couldn't resist getting her this. I had a glo worm as a child and Ben and I loved the look of the vintage ones much better than the new ones, so I stalked a few auctions on ebay to get one (surprisingly they go for a whole lot and I was in a bidding war to get them). Actually, I not only got one, but two (I am good at ebay), to make sure at least one worked. We wanted her to be able to hug it later and have fun seeing it light up! After all, that is what helps make this little worm so darn adorable.

I can't wait until she can play with it. Actually, I can. I love her being so little and since she is our last, we are soaking up every minute of this newborn-ness before it's gone. Plus, she is already a month old! Can you believe it?!! And I did indeed take her chair picture yesterday to mark the occasion (and I am almost done writing her birth story, so hopefully that will be up next week).

Everyday she is changing bit by bit. We love her soooo much!!!

NEW BEST FRIENDS

Oh dearie, hope you don't mind how this space will be inundated with lots of baby gushing for a long while. Baby gushing is what everyone in our house is doing all day long, especially Soul.

BABY BABYCAKIES IS HERE

If you haven't followed on twitter, well, we have got ourselves another GIRL!!! Whew! I am so glad this secret is finally out.

Like our other girls, coming up her name took a very, very long while. I mean what comes after True, Brave, Soul, which almost sounded complete, but obviously wasn't. There was a message we heard one sunday while gathered with our church family, it is what inspired this banner, and ever since then we played with the names Bright, Shine, Light, but nothing felt right. It wasn't too long ago that somehow the word glow popped up and we kept thinking about it. The more we thought about it and its definition, the more we fell in love, and knew it was perfect!

Our prayer is that our Glow would possess the light of Christ and shine her light so brightly (Matt 5:14-16). Amorette was the perfect middle name because we got four loves and she is our littlest one!

We are all sorts of over the moon in love with this little Glow. True's in love. Brave's in love. And Soul is all-over-kissing-her-everywhere in love too! We are definitely enjoying this very special time. I have got more stories to tell about these past few days, but right now I am going to go back to cuddling. You understand right?!!

Thank you for all those who sent well wishes via twitter and followed the birth that way. That twitter updating was all Ben; it was the first time he ever tweeted! I didn't even tell him, next thing I knew, after I gave birth, I find out he had become a twitter addict! Even Ben so appreciates all the love and support you all give. It really does mean a lot to this little family of six! SIX!!! And how is Ben coping with the having 4 little girls?! Well, maybe that should come in another post...

That's right... now we got a True, Brave, Soul, Glow!!!
