I did get some sewing in. The bride needed 3 flower girl dresses (not for my three girls) and she wanted something fun and summery and this is what happened. It is just like this dress I sewed for True awhile back. I loved the fabric that she chose and will probably use the left overs to make my girls a summer romper. Cause every girl needs one, right?!
Totally not your traditional flower girl dress and I love it! There was more wedding making today, though I didn't really do much but work on other things in the kitchen. The wedding will be here soon, so will our 6 year anniversary, then Brave's birthday. Oh my! The summer is already slipping by so quickly. Next thing you know, it is time for baby! Eeks!!!
It is already the middle of June and I feel like I still have so much to do before the baby comes! Yes, I know. There is still 3 more months, but is anyone else feeling a bit pressed for time?!
oh, i just love the dresses! the fabric is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYesterday..yes. Pressed for time. Today? Nope. Schools out! Summer ahead! With a slight bump in road with a fractured elbow for Jack.

Dresses are gorgeous!! I would love a tutorial on how to make them, or a pointer to the pattern you used. So bright and summery!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! I love the prints, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteIf anyone can do it, it's you! I like to think of all those projects I take on that aren't really "necessary" as living life to the fullest. If I didn't do them, life would be simpler and easier, but I wouldn't have experienced it as much. I'm currently helping a friend plan her wedding, and it's taken so much time already, but I'm loving it!
ReplyDeleteOh pleaaase tell us how to make these! They are so adorable!
