Our time there was so short and we packed it with as much activity as we were able. We had our spa afternoon, hit a buffet (which is a tradition), met up with some of Ben's friends, did some thrifting, visiting relatives, drinking some yummy and maybe slightly spiked egg nog made by Tio Charlie, and just doing a whole lot of laughing together! Then on our last day there, we had a brunch party and had family over and some of Grandmama's friends and we all celebrated Soulie's birthday.
There was so much excitement the whole time there and we came with home with a fuller car of presents and a camera and hearts full of happy memories, and another bonus was a big container full of Tio Charlie's yummy salsa! The trip was much too fast, but we have plans to return soon!
Any of you do some traveling for Christmas? It is a busy time to travel, but lots of fun!
I did not travel at all, but I did go all over San Diego County, going to see 4 different families, it was a long chirstmas day, not to mention the chirstmas eve parties, but I love seeing all my friends and family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time you had!
ReplyDeleteLuckilyl, most of our close family lives in the same city, so we didn't have to travel.
