Taken by Brave at the fair.
Love True's face! She was angry and crying her head off because she didn't ride the elephant.
I hated to see her so sad and crazy about it, but riding an elephant for $14 dollars (for ben and her) just once around, which lasts about a minute and a half, at the same time sharing the animal with two other strangers, just seems to be a bit excessive. That company is making a killing off that poor elephant as there are long lines to ride it.
So cute! This will definitely need to be the picture used in her senior yearbook in the baby tribute section!
ReplyDeleteI just thought true was making the same face as her daddy in the pic. :) Brave did a great job taking the pic...love it! That's really sad that they would charge so much to ride an elephant...if all the parents would not give in to their kids, they could lower the price if the parents refused, but oh well.
ReplyDeleteAw, Brave's a good little photographer! True's face is priceless! But I'm with you about the overpriced ride... Poor elephant!! =(
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! That is really sad about poor True...but what a hilarious face :)
ReplyDeleteOh dear. *giggle* Great photo Brave!
ReplyDeleteomg! love this picture! frame it. hahahahahha
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely in the camp of cheaper prices at the OC Fair, after spending $9 each on some questionable hamburgers, we didn't even end up going on any rides. At least there is plenty of "people watching" to engage in. ;)
ReplyDeleteyou have such a cute little family! i rode an elephant when i was little. it wasn't as magical as you'd think. i think true will survive :)
ReplyDeleteI know I shouldn't have smiled so much at a pic where she is so upset. But, I love how sometimes you (the parents) have to smile/laugh when they are so upset and there's nothing (barring shelling out $14) to do about it.
ReplyDeleteI hate animal rides anywhere outside of real ranches and zoos. Here in NYC the horses/carriages around central park are beyond heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteP.S- I have that skirt too! (and still no idea how to wear it!)
poor thing, but $14 is a lot...
ReplyDeletepriceless! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG her face is classic. i actually did ride one of those elephants once and i felt so bad after wards. just show her dumbo and how sad the elephants are to be caged up all the time :( she'll thank you.
ReplyDeleteheheh that pic is priceless!
ReplyDeleteThis is sweet! I like your smile.
ReplyDeleteSo sad for True but it is good that she learnt that we can't always have 'our' way but oh! how it hurts mummies and daddies :(
ReplyDeletehahaha her face is hilarious!! she is not joking around!
