(Bela in the bow dress)
(misha lulu tee for boys)
(grandma chol's crocheted hats)
Misha Lulu is a family owned and operated fashion brand founded by Karen and Joe Salazar. Their darling Bela is the biggest inspiration behind all they do. This fashion forward, hip clothing line is full of whimsical detail and funk in every piece. Karen, the mastermind behind it all, really goes to great lengths to ensure the quality and uniqueness of every item.
This little brand is truly so special as it is a family effort and everyone takes part in a little creating. Karen's mother, Grandma Blanquita, hand paints vintage inspired images on the aprons, and Joe's mother, Grandma Chol, crochets all the fun hats. Even little Bela has a say in the type of clothing she wants to see in Misha Lulu each season! Also, I have the privilege of knowing Karen personally and I can attest to how much love and attention she dedicates to her creativity and building a line that is so much full of love and personality.
For Cakies readers, Misha Lulu is doing a fantastic giveaway. I will be picking two winners, that's right... two!!! One winner will receive the Misha Lulu bow dress (any size from 3 months- 8yrs.) and a Grandma Chol crocheted hat and the other winner will receive 2 boy Misha Lulu tees (any size from 2T-8). Examples of what will be given can be seen in the pictures above.
