True is the newest little dancer in house. Naturally, there must be a go-to bag to put all of her teeny, tiny dance stuff. Made of linen on the outside and the most perfect cotton fabric for the inside, this little number does the job. Of course, a little embroidered ballerina is on the front to remind us what exactly this bag is for.
She loves dance. She practices at home a lot, not because I make her, but because she really loves it that much! Right before nap time, she will walk across her room with her hands up and on her toes for what seems like a million times. I have to remind her that it is nap time, not dance time. Seeing her in her little outfit really sobers me up that my little True is no longer a baby, but she will always be a baby to me.
oh that little bag is just perfect!! hopefully we will get signed up for dances classes soon.

ReplyDeletelove the little dancers....my daughter wore the same tutu for 8 months....and that fabric is adorable..who makes it?
ReplyDeleteSO sweet. I remember dressing my little brother up in my extra leotard and tutu while taking ballet classes at a young age. We put on performances of 'Twinkle, Twinkle' for my parents. It's on video and I plan on showing his fiance one day.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see one or two of these in your shop. I have two little ballerinas who would love those adorable bags! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your creativity, as usual!

Beautiful photos and beautiful bag! LOVE that embroidered ballerina!!
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet bag--very cute.
ReplyDeletethe only thing i remember about ballet class is doing the crab walk--but pretending we were balancing our breakfast on our stomachs that way we would have to be really stable. silly, but it stuck!
Love this bag!
ReplyDeleteThat sound so adorable with her going across her room just like a little ballerina. And that little bag is just so pretty!
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet bag. I can't imagine when my littlest girl starts ballet/tap -- sigh.
ReplyDeletethats cute :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet! It brings back memories of my first ballet classes (which turned into 11 years and an all-consuming 'hobby'...it happens fast and can be too much!). Little girls are made for it!
ReplyDeleteSooo sweet, does she do tap too, my girls both do ballet and I like watching them sooo much, they made a nice performance last evening for me and my parents right after dinner ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the bag!!
thanks all! i don't know who the fabric is by as I have had it for a very long time and don't have very much of it. if i had to guess, it would be robert kauffman. i am thinking about putting 1 in the shop as that is all i may have left to make. i will let you know if i decide to.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, can't stop following it. You're an inspiration to me!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI remember my little dance bag when I was little. It was not nearly that cute, but was pink plastic and had a little opening on the side to put the ballet slippers in the bottom so they wouldn't get smashed.
precious, i love the tote did you make it? This post wants me to have kids, especially little girl!!
