mealtime

Light pappered chicken with a side of scribbled broccoli and strawberries...

True declares, "Eat! Eat! Eat!"

Then, as usual, Brave always wants what's on True's plate. It's funny how even when I make two sets of something, they still go after the same one...
I guess sharing is not an innate ability.

These quickly made eatery softies have become such hit at our house. I think I need to make one for Ben and me, so that we  have a place at the pretend play table too, cause these little babyCakies make mealtime look fun and delicious...

Bon appetit!

  1. These are so cute and look so easy even I could do them.

I don't have a sewing machine, but I bet they'd be fine by hand. Or even in felt... hmmm... you're making me think.

  8. So very cute and fun for the little girls. I like those better than the cheap plastic junk you buy at the store for kids.

  10. Ha ha! Sharing is definitely a learned behavior! I found after I had my own children, that I suddenly understood my students at school a whole lot better!!! Here's a great book that I read when mine were the same age as your girls: http://www.amazon.com/Siblings-Without-Rivalry-Children Together/dp/0380799006/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1223406462&sr=8-1
Their preschool teacher did a class on it. I learned sooo much!!
I also wanted to tell you that the little clutch purse you sent came in the mail today! I LOVE IT!!!!! It is sooo cute! I can't wait to take it out on a dinner date or something! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
