My babycakies is now a big girl because she sleeps in a little "big girl" bed (It only has three sides, but with it being an antique baby bed, it is quite tiny). She has been doing pretty good and we are in the process of fixing her room, so decorating has been a lot of fun. In the meantime, she was in need of her first little "big girl" pillow, so using some vintage fabric that I got in SA, I set off to make her sweet little head a little pillow...
I think she loves it and it is quite the perfect size for this tiny girl with a tiny bed...
Oh... and the Kokeshi Gallery Show is now up and running over at Bethany's blog. It was so much fun to be a part of and there are so many talented people out there! Check it out...

Thanks Ruby!! I love this little pillow you created for her! It reminds me of the pillow cases that were popular when I was little (the 70's!). Tell True that we think she is such a big girl now and we can't wait to see what wonderful things you're doing to decorate her room! Ruby, I also wanted to tell you that I read some posts on your other blog and it just touched my heart! You have such a big heart and you are one of the best moms and wife that I know of. You're such an inspiration to me...thank you!
ReplyDeleteRuby, once again, you are amazing! I just looked at the link with your's and True's dolls and have to say that she is following in your footsteps! You truly are blessed with overflowing talent!
ReplyDeleteBethany- Thank you so much... on the contrary you are very much an inspiration! I am so glad to have met you...
ReplyDeleteBecky- What are talking about? You are quite a creative bug yourself and are constantly oozing out with more wonderful things!!!
She looks delightful snuggled on her pillow, which by the way is so pretty. I would love to see her bed. I have started thinking about a bed for Lucy, so would love to see your vintage find.
ReplyDelete:) that bed is dangerous!!!!! jk. love the pillow
ReplyDeleteCatherine- I will post the bed soon. I love it and it is so cute and teeny, but sometimes our furniture scares people because we like a lot of character and sometimes that means we like a lot of chips, dings, and rust. You will see...
