My first official embroidery project was fun and turned out well (though I had little mistakes here and there), but I look forward to doing more (This is the little project we were working on this week)!

For our moms...
A little something special to remember just how little their grandaughters are and how much we all love them very much...

One pillow has already made its way to Texas...

Oh my gosh, it's adorable!! I just bought an embroidery book today! After finals, I am definitely going to start making some stuff. :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!! I may have to copy this one. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. For a first attempt at embroidery I think you will be back for more and more and more and more! Isn't it simple and relaxing? - Jen
ReplyDeleteYou did so fantastic!! And it's such a wonderful gift. I'm sure they'll keep it forever. I wish I had done this when my children were little. Maybe I'll keep the idea and tell them when I have grandchildren!! ;)
ReplyDeleteVery sweet project! I've been trying to think of beautiful and creative ways to preserve my four cuties little hands...This might be THE idea! THANKS!!!
ReplyDeleteMay I ask what stitch you used for these pillows? I've been wanting to do one for my boys, but the one I saw used stippling and I don't know how to do that. Thank you.
