It is a nice little perk to have a sister who works at Disneyland cause sometimes thanks to her (and her friends), we get to have a Disney day! We really don't ride many rides, cause frankly lines are way too long and the thing that my girls really love is the parade! Their faces light up, their voices get loud, and it comes alive for them. They loved it so much that we watched both parades of the day. The best part of the parade is seeing Jiminy Cricket. He is really good friends with my baby sister.
Besides having fun at the park, eating churros, my fave part was hanging out with my siblings (and Ashley). We are all becoming better friends now that we are getting older. It is nice. When my brother and I were younger (he is next in line after me), we didn't get along. We literally would hit and kick each other and were always at each other's throats. Thankfully, ever since our last big fight shortly after True was born (it was a really bad fight!), we became friends. Us sisters are pretty protective of our brother and it will definitely be a bit tough for the girl who wants our brother's heart to win the heart of us three sisters. Us sisters mean business. For real. Don't mess with his heart girls!
It was definitely a good day, but the only thing that would have made it better was having Ben there with us. It is just never the same without him!
oh those big smiles on their faces are just too precious!! I <3 Disneyland too!
ReplyDeleteLooks so fun. DId you make or buy your sling? I love it!
ReplyDeletestephanie- i bought my sling long ago for true. it is from: http://www.rockinbabysling.com/
ReplyDeleteHuge smiles on children's faces are the best thing ever, especially when they're photographed. I adore this blog, it makes me smile everytime I read a new post!

sgrmse- we can't go anytime. since she is part-time she can only get us in twice a year. but that is good enough for us!
ReplyDeletecharlotte- my shoes are from f21, but were from awhile back.
Hi! I love your blog since finding it through MADE a while back... I love your sling and I have one almost exactly like it! Question: where in the hay are her legs?? She looks so happy and I'd like to keep using mine with my 4 month daughter but she gets frustrated with the way I put her in. Hints?? Thanks!
ReplyDeletei am one of three sisters with we've got a baby brother too. we were seriously concerned over his choices in the young ladies for a few years there. lucky for us he married the loveliest girl; bullet dodged!
ReplyDeletei hope your brother can find a lovely wife too!
and super jealous of the disneyland perk. not only do we not have a family member working at the park, we also live a billion miles away. we went there once when i was a kid. it took us 36 hours. in a station wagon. in july. and the a/c broke down. sweet, sweet memories. i can't wait to take my kids there one day....
aww what fun, looks like a beautiful time:) your kids are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove all the pictures! just curious how do you manage on what to take with for your daughters? (diaper bag, change of clothes etc.) I just came back from a trip and hated lodging around a full diaper bag.
ReplyDeleteEEEK! I love seeing your girls wearing some of the goodies I sent! Yay! It looks you all had a great time and I'm sure they'll grow up with the best feelings and memories when they think about Disneyland. Hooray!
ReplyDeleteWe hit up Dland in Dec. and the girls LOVED that parade, especially my little one. We don't see "real" parades like that in our small town!
ReplyDeleteBrave looks so grown up here!
ReplyDeleteOh-so-cool to see the joy on those lovely little faces! I can't wait to take my girls to Disneyland one day!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, cool that you got to spend the day with your siblings! I'm an only child but I've watched my husband and his brother develop their relationship into adulthood - they used to fight all the time, but now they are adults they are so close - they were best men at each other's weddings. Although I really *hope* my girls don't fight quite so much as children, I love that they will have those close sibling relationships as adults!!
What fun pictures!! Can't wait till my little one is old enough to enjoy Disney Land :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, what kind of baby sling do you use? I bought one a couple of months ago and it's so hard to get my baby in and out of it...
