These two are the best of friends, but they sure do fight! True was only 15 months when Brave was born, so she doesn't know what life is like without her.
I am the oldest of four. My brother is next in line, but I have two little sisters. We are grown now and are the best of friends, even if I am 7 and 10 years older than them. We have lots of fun together and we especially wreak havoc shopping together, though my parents aren't so happy about that cause it usually is at their expense. Yes, even now. But can a father really say no to his daughters?!! Good luck, Ben!
I spent all day today hanging out with my sisters and some friends all in celebration for the middle's sister's last hurrah as a single lady. It was such a good day filled with adventure and now the next adventure on the list will be the wedding in less than two weeks. So much to do, but so little time!
I may be biased because I have two sisters and all my girls know is having sisters, but I think sisters are especially sweet. Don't you?
p.s. brother, we love you just as much!!!

Sweet pictures! My two are 15 months apart too and best friends! I love that they'll have each other long past living at home with us. I think the reason you and your sisters are so close is your parents. I never had a good relationship with my sisters which is why I've tried to raise my children to love and respect each other and so far, it's worked!
ReplyDeletemaybe i'm biased, too! sisters are especially sweet. so happy to have five of them! they. are. absolutely. thee. best!!! hands down!! you really do grow to be best friends. <3

Fun pictures! I grew up with two sisters and one brother. The girls had a blast together and sometimes I felt like my brother felt a little left out! (Truth is he really didn't care at all!)
ReplyDeleteI agree! I have three brothers no sisters. I always wished for a sister. I also wished to have two girls and I got what I wanted. I will never know what it's like to have a sister but I can experience some of it through my two girls. Who are very close and who also fight a lot, too.
ReplyDeleteMy sister is precious to me ... I just hope that my girls will have what my sister and I share ... there is nothing like sisterly love!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! I am hoping my girls will be just as close as I am with my sisters.

I have no sisters. I have two older brothers 9 and 7 years my elder, and I guess we're semi-close and I felt super close to my brother who is the younger of the two when I was a child, but I don't think he felt that way about me. I used to beg my mom for a sister but she had her tubes tied after having me, and she felt guilty doing so because of how much I wanted a sister. I had no friends so that didn't help that I actually considered my mom and brother my only friends for quite a long time. They definitely aren't the type I can tell anything to either, sadly. oh well. These photos and the fact that you are so close to your sisters is really amazing and so sweet to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post! I have just given birth to my second daughter and I can't wait to see them grow to love each other. Sisters really are wonderful.
