I leave for the day to go to a homeschool conference and this is what happens when Ben plays Mr. Mom.
When I came back the girls said they wanted me to go to work and for Papi stay home! Popsicles, getting wet in the backyard, a water gun fight... well, who could blame them?! I am very glad that Ben got to have this special afternoon with his girls.
What kind of funny things do you come home to when your hubs plays Mr. Mom?
Nothing anywhere near as exciting as that. Excellent fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your gorgeous girls have been having lots of fun, we love water fights here!
ReplyDeleteB xxx
My girl alsow loves toy story! I don't know what it is about that movie but i've seen it over a 1000thime's. Glad i'm not the only one! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, beautiful girls!! Looks like they had a lot of fun! Can't you send some sunshine over to the Netherlands, we could use some of this waterfun-pictures too...
ReplyDeleteIs Braves swim suit on sideways? That would happen with my husband. They always have fun with Daddy, but that is all he has to do is play. I on the other hand am trying to run the household and there is always a million things to do. I hope the conference went well and you are feeling good and prepared. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYes, this looks about right! When the kids get some alone time with daddy, it usually involves making a mess and staying up too late. But that's the fun of it!
ReplyDeleteA HUGE MESS ! Look all set here !
ReplyDeletethis is too adorable!
ReplyDeletehaha!! the girls looked like they had so much fun. dad's always seems to make simple afternoons so much more fun!
ReplyDeleteI would find mismatched clothes especially socks. The cuisine would always be "daddy food" which means everything fried. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy husband is the same way. When I came home one day, my daughter had dried chocolate all over her face! They indulged in a treat at our local ice cream parlor, Grater's, even though we already had some ice cream in the freezer! She's definitely Daddy's little girl.
ReplyDeletePopcorn is generally a large part of, if not the entire, dinner. And there are often "forts" around the house. :)
ReplyDeleteI come home to wet bodies and toys scattered too...but what they EAT when I'm gone! It just makes me shudder.
ReplyDeleteI wrote about it:

ReplyDeleteone day i came home and my daughter was wearing shorts under her pants. my husband said "they look like underwear". the best stories come from these days :)
ReplyDeleteMy dad used to set up camp when my mom went away called "Camp Waddawiddapeppadadda" meaning "what's with the peppers dad?" because he loves cooking with peppers. We loved it! He set up a whole itinerary and everything!
ReplyDeleteI fear the day when we have children and J takes them for a whole day. hahahahaha. He's tired after 10 minutes with the Bratcher girls.
ReplyDeleteSame dealio here :) It's all about junk and little responsibility! ha!
ReplyDeleteAh!! I love that picture where she's about to take down Woody! Hilarious look on her face. : )
