I told you our love for tomatoes is serious.
Today is my Bravey's birthday and we will be taking orders from her all day long! Happy Thursday everyone!!!
We have about 35 plants...but only 8 or 10 varieties, all heirloom. I'm impressed with all of the different colors you have! What do you do with the extras? Do you can them?
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love that you, too, let your diaper clad baby run around in the garden. It's so cute!
ReplyDeleteGosh, they're beautiful! Oh, for enough sunshine to grow my own tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteCool garden. Happy to see that there is baby in diaper running in your garden too !
ReplyDeletebrave and I are birthday twins!
ReplyDeletehappy birthday dear brave!
BEAUTIFUL. Here in Texas my family, every year, has the hardest time with our tomatoes. Bugs and birds are so mean ;-; but we keep it strictly organic so.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE tomatos (so does Lilla! tomatotes, lettuce and cucumber are her favorites) and NEVER seen such a variety! Really, I think I only know 3 kinds! YUMMY!
ReplyDeleteAnd happy bday little big Bravey!!
hugs from Brazil!
Wow! Our tomatoes in KS are dying from the scorching heat.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Brave!
I can smell a lovely tomato and cheese quiche in your future.
ReplyDeleteLuv Lisa x
i'm heading to our farmer's market today - and my main goal is to get tons of tons of tomatoes! I LOVE THIS SEASON! Yum!
ReplyDeletePlease tell us what you do with all these tomatoes - we're also overflowing with heirlooms and have been eating them bruschetta'd, in sandwiches, caprese'd...I can't bring myself to turn on the stove long enough to make sauce but maybe that's next.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Brave!
ReplyDeleteYour tomatoes are beautiful!
Love banana legs!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! We have about 5 tomato plants but they are not doing so well - no red tomatoes! We live close to the beach and I think it still might be a little too cold!
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh! I never knew there were so many kinds! I want to grow my own now!
ReplyDeletespaghetti night at your house is going to be a blast isn't it? i'm just thinking of the home made marinara and other tasty things you're gonna make with all of those! gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh my I am so envious of your beautiful tomato garden! I haven't planted a garden for a few years (I need to reclaim the space) and I miss it so much!
ReplyDeletexoxo
lovely pictures! Happy birthday Bravey!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to have your own garden! I want that someday, if the dogs don't eat it!
ReplyDeleteHow do you work around the split tomatoes? Do you all still eat them? I can't decide ...
