Winter isn't quite here yet, but it will be soon, right? Therefore, this is my version of wearing winter white. This vintage dress is a bit thicker in material too, so I think this will be perfect for more winter wears ahead. Ben was a bit funny and said, "Are you wearing a curtain?" I don't think so, but maybe I am. Maybe sometime ago someone was repurposing and decided to make a dress out of their curtains. Who knows?!! No matter what, this vintage dress is loved lots. Maybe even more so if it came from a curtain! And let me tell you it is hard to keep a white dress white when you have kids, but luckily it survived. Whew!
This weekend was mostly spent in bed and watching a whole lot of Masterpiece Theatre. I got sick first, then it hit Ben, next Brave, and lastly Soul. True has escaped it thus far. Since we didn't really go out, you will have to wait for part two of my sharing of my girls until tonight!
on me: dress, vintage. necklace, etsy. belt, thrifted. tights, kohls. shoes, capricious traveler.
Today's plan involve making a short drive to drop off the older two girls with their Grammy and Grumpy so they can vacation with them a bit in San Diego. You better believe I will be busy cleaning the house while the two biggest mess makers are gone! And I need to do some thrifting cause I am looking for some vintage syrup dispensers like these and I need them quick! Anyone have any lying around that they are trying to get rid of? Send them here please!
Are you feeling the vintage lovin' and want to see more pretty vintage winter whites? see some of my faves here, here, here, and here.
Don't forget to come back tonight to see our part two of "vintage here, vintage there" and go over to see what Rachel's vintage lovin' "over there"!
vintage here, vintage there: week one
vintage here, vintage there: week two
