True is completely well (thank God!) and we are off to a magical adventure today. I am so excited and the girls will be in love... I just know it!
I am behind in emails and comments once again, so I know some of you have asked questions about how we take our family pictures (like do we really make some stranger to take a picture of all of us while Ben and I kiss?) or about my zumi. Please use this post to leave me any questions you have about anything you may been wondering about and I will answer those questions in another post soon. Some people may have the same question you do, so I thought it would be easier to answer them for all of you.
Also for curiosity sake, what other things would you like to see in this space? More craft? More recipes? Please do share! And a new month is upon us, so if you have a blog or shop you want to promote, send me an email and I can send you more sponsor info.
Thanks folks! Be back tomorrow...
yes i was just thinking that same question: how do you get such good family pictures?! i doubt that you find photographers every where you go to take them for you...or do you? :)
ReplyDeletehappy thursday!
I love your zumi videos. I make Sean watch them and ask "don't you want to have videos like this of our family (when we have a family!)" I'd love to know how you make the videos. I have a have a feeling a Mac is involved. .
ReplyDeleteYes I have a question! What are those awesome sneaker-ish shoes you are wearing?
ReplyDeletewith your nikon d40 camera...what lens do you use it the most with? i would love to see more craft projects that you've been working on or any tutorials you may have. thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteI think I asked it already, but I do want to know how you take those awesome photos of you and Ben, and also the whole family! I don't trust my camera to strangers... they usually cut us off at the knees or it just looks like I'm looking at a stranger!! ;)
ReplyDeleteWell,I had guessed that you must be using a tripod b/c i didn't think you'd ask strangers to take kissing pics. ;) Whatever you use,I would love to know so we can take our own family pics, too. I was quite mad b/c for my Zumi,I bought the batteries & charger you suggested only to get to DC on our vacation last week & find out it wasn't the battery...it had died. :( I only used it a few times and didn't think it would be dead so quickly. Anyways,I just ordered another one.If you can ever get to DC with the girls, you should go,it's a great family city...but you may want to wait till they are older as it's a lot of walking, but so worth it.You can't even look at everything in 1 week.Anyways,I do love your recipes, but would really love to see more crafts even though my girls are older. I also love seeing pics of your dinners together & the parties you throw for the girls..Also,real quick,my oldest daughter's birthday is Nov. 3 (she loves your blog,too)...she'll be 16...seems like yesterday she was smaller than Soul. One more thing, if you would like book suggestions for the girls,I have heard lots of good things about the series called Moomins, the author is from Finland & they are supposed to be great books for children....just thought you might like to check it out at amazon. :)Ok,bye for now. :)
ReplyDeleteI would like to see more craft! You do well in intertwining your home life with your creativity and that's so inspiring. Not to mention, I love the fact that you are a Christian and that makes your life much more attractive.
ReplyDeleteHOW do you take spontaneous family pictures?
I'd love to know how you manage to cope with three little girls? I find one little toddler hard enough! What's your best tips? And how do you manage to get any crafting done? I find it hard to find the time and energy. Love the blog, very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteYes, what sneakers are you wearing? they are fantastic! Also, what is your typical routine during the day? LOVE your blog!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see more recipes!
ReplyDeletei'd like to see a blog post about how much you love your sister. xoxo.
ReplyDeletei asked about the family pics thing. I look forward to your reply :).
ReplyDeleteI say keep doing what you are doing. I enjoy your blog!
ps. what sort of things do you give your girls for Christmas? ideas are always welcomed.
i was wondering the same thing about your family photos! they always come out spectacularly. i'm curious to find out!
ReplyDeleteI am all about the family and design pics. It's voyeuristic of me, i'm sure, but i love watching you and your family grow. It's a great way to reflect upon all we have in this life.
ReplyDeleteRecipes!
ReplyDeletei was also wondering what you do for your family pics..do you just put the timer on and pose? So cute! And i have actually been really missing your craft tutorials! Hope to see more of those :) or recipes as well!
ReplyDeleteAmanda
OH...I have been wanting to email you. I found these vintage boots from goodwill the other day...(When i saw them i automatically thought of you :) They are childrens size 6 and are cream in color, called the stride rite boot. Lined with a pinkish fur. They are pretty fun, but i can't find any like them online to see what they're worth to sell them on etsy..any pointers?
Love the balance of craft, food, family (and kissing!) on this blog. You get it just right!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious where you store all your craft stuff...and things like those mustaches-on-a-stick you made awhile ago. Do you have alot of storage space? Any nifty ideas for keeping crafted things?
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, would love to see some more delicious recipes! :) Thank you so much for all the beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to eat healthier and so I would love healthy yummy recipes.
ReplyDeletei'd love to see more crafts and DIYs.. and yes, how do u take family pics on vacation? i find it very hard!
ReplyDeleteare those your shellie shoes from london?! THEY ARE IN AMAZING SHAPE! my shoes are destroyedddddddd but I keep 'em for memory sake.
ReplyDeleteditto on the shoes! they MUST be shelly's! i have some white/green ones just like those. ok, your blog is fantastic already - i am always so impressed with your creativity, your adorable family... and your garden! any recipes you could share would be FABulous!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! I would love to hear more about cute things that the girls do, things they say to each other, hear details about their tantrums, every day things... I have two girls myself, just a bit younger than yours. I am also interested in quick, easy and healthy recipes. Would like to know about things you do around the house to simplify - boring things like cleaning, organizing and just getting things done. Last random bit, I had wondered where that pumpkin patch is located.
ReplyDeletei'd like to see a blog post about how much you love your bff. xoxo.
