We are baking, coloring, and doing some crafting in preparation for our little party tonight to celebrate the New Year.
Happy New Year everyone and thank you so much for all your support and love this year! I am so looking forward to see what comes of 2010...
Tonight we will have some Ben-cooked food, cookies, and a night of dancing (and possibly a movie) and tomorrow indulging in sushi at my parents' house. What are you doing to ring in the New Year?
fondue!
ReplyDeleteheading to a bday party for my daughter's friend whose bday is today. We're having a mock NYE party that will probably end around 8.
ReplyDeleteThen, we will come home, put the kids to bed, struggle to stay awake until midnight -- and, most likely fail.
Tonight (since it is already the new year in the UAE!) we spent the evening with friends and at midnight went up on the roof to watch the fireworks around the Burj al Arab. It was beautiful! I love when we stand on the beach to see them and the waves come up and you can see the fireworks reflect off the Burj's windows, but it was still lovely to be with friends, and my beau, and to know that God will do far more than I ask, think, or imagine this year.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year!!
love,
Cait

We are pretty boring... we'll probably go to bed well before midnight.... it just isn't fun anymore for us to stay up late to see another day that really isn't different than the day before. :) But I hope you share some fun pics of your celebrations with the girls. I just know you all will have loads of fun!You always have a blast so have a great new years eve! maybe we'll bake some cookies now... that sounds good. :)
