30 years

mom and pop
{stolen from my sister's blog}

These crazy two love birds are my parents and they are more in love today than than they were when they got married 30 years ago! Seriously, growing up watching these two made me so excited when I would be joined in a covenant with the man God designed for me. They are still very much madly, deeply, and truly in love with each other. Of course, they fight and when they do, you better watch out, but when they love, they really, really love!!!

Thirty years later, my dad still romances my mom and my mom still romances my dad. That's how it should be. Love isn't easy, it takes work and if you are gonna get in it, you better be ready to work!

Happy Anniversary mom & dad! We love you lots!!! I am glad that I get to be in love and work at being in love everyday with my Benny!!!

    Thanks for sharing. With relationships falling all around us, it's nice to see long-lasting love and that it is possible. I thought I was just a lucky one - but I guess perhaps I am. xx

  6. Such a sweet post.
    There aren't too many of us that have parent's that are still together. My parents just had their 40th this past spring - amazing! May we follow in the footsteps of our parents and stay married just as long if not longer.
